How we can help you bid farewell to the tattoo you’d rather forget, using the PicoSure® Pro Laser

With over six years of experience in laser technology, we have gained comprehensive knowledge of laser tattoo removal. Our familiarity with this process enables us to confidently assert that it is the most effective way to completely remove any unwanted tattoos, no matter how long you have had them.

We take pride in using the best technology available for our clients. Our clinic uses the world's first picosecond aesthetic laser, PicoSure® Pro, which is not like any other tattoo removal or skin laser system. Unlike other systems, it doesn't generate heat that can damage and burn the skin. This results in less tissue damage and discomfort for our clients.

Most common reasons for removing an old tattoo:

  • The Natural Fading of Tattoos and Removal Options
Over time, tattoos can become blurry or fade due to sun exposure, aging, or the use of low-quality ink. In such cases, some may choose to have the tattoo removed if the original design is no longer clear or aesthetically appealing.

  • Evolving Preferences and Changing Tastes
As time goes on, people's tastes and preferences may change. Even a tattoo that once held significant sentimental value may no longer match their current lifestyle or aesthetic.

  • Navigating Appearance Requirements in Certain Professions
Certain careers have strict appearance guidelines, which can make it challenging for some individuals to comply. To improve their professional opportunities or meet workplace standards, some individuals may choose to remove a visible tattoo.

  • Removing Tattoos Associated with Past Relationships
When a relationship ends, tattoos that were once a symbol of love and commitment can become painful reminders. Removing these tattoos can serve as a symbol of moving on and starting anew.

  • Removing a tattoo can be a sign of growth in a person’s life
When experiencing significant life events or personal growth, starting anew can feel liberating. Removing an old tattoo can be a symbolic way to mark a new chapter in someone's life.

How does the PicoSure® Pro Laser work?

Unlike other lasers that generate heat, the PicoSure® Pro operates differently. Its laser delivers energy so swiftly that pigment and tattoo ink particles vibrate and burst, without causing any damage to the surrounding tissue. The result is less pain and tissue damage during the removal process. The laser technology harnesses the body's natural healing process to restore the skin, utilizing Focus lens technology to convert the laser energy to gentle pressure waves that activate Cell Signaling and the body's natural communication processes.

The PicoSure® Pro's pulses are so rapid that they cause a change in pressure that breaks tattoo ink into tiny micro-particles. These particles are then absorbed by the lymphatic system and excreted through the body's waste system. This process is efficient and less painful than traditional tattoo removal methods.

How long does it take for a tattoo to be completely removed?

Removing a tattoo with a laser is a gradual process that requires several sessions. On average, 6-8 sessions are needed, with approximately 10% of the tattoo removed after each visit. The sessions are scheduled 6 weeks apart, allowing enough time for the tattoo pigmentation to break down. The duration of each session is based on the tattoo size. For small tattoos, sessions run for about 3-5 minutes, while larger, sleeve style tattoos require 15–30-minute sessions. For some clients who have had their tattoo for many years, the tattoo may have already become quite faded meaning they could see even quicker results. However, this is very much dependent on each client and their skin type.
